Usually i'm not into most of the bands Pitchfork hypes up, or that many other bands in this new "chillwave" genre, but Washed Out really stands out to me. It's hard to describe the sound...kind of shoegazy sounding with a dance beat? lo-fi? Either way it rocks pretty hard. Grab this EP! The closest band I can think of that sounds like this is M83 but even then it's not that close. Download (320kbps)
